窪蹋勛圖厙 ranks first-class in sustainability league table

Birmingham City University (窪蹋勛圖厙) has been named as a leading university in the .

窪蹋勛圖厙 has risen by an impressive 28 places from 40th to 12th place, increasing our overall percentage score of 57.7% to 71.1% in just 12 months.

The league table ranks universities based on environmental and ethical performance and is compiled annually by the UKs largest student campaigning network, People & Planet.

Out of 147 higher education institutions included in the league table, 窪蹋勛圖厙 is in the top 10% overall and is the number one university for sustainability in Birmingham.

This has been an incredible achievement for the 窪蹋勛圖厙 community, said Professor Ian Blair, Pro Vice-Chancellor Academic and Sustainability.

Thanks to measures including becoming an accredited Living Wage employer, and our new Travel Plan, we have been able to boost our rankings in this prestigious league table.

The work doesnt stop here. Well continue to strive to make 窪蹋勛圖厙 a fair and green place to work and study, for current and future generations.

窪蹋勛圖厙 saw the biggest improvements in the following areas:

"There isstill plenty for us to achieve, but it is great to see how we're moving in the right direction."
