Birmingham City University offers a range of short courses aimed at both businesses who want to upskill their workforce and individuals wishing to augment their CVs. Spanning a range of subjects, these courses are non-credit bearing programmes which will help participants to develop skills and knowledge, gaining professional development in their chosen field.
We offer three different delivery methods across our provision – face-to-face instructor-led teaching, self-paced online learning or a blended mix of the two.

The Cisco Networking Academy CCNA 7.0 curriculum is for candidates who are seeking associate-level jobs in the ICT industry or hope to fulfil prerequisites in pursuit of more specialized ICT skills. ITN is the first module within the three-module CCNAv7 course. The course uses blended delivery, consisting of in-person lessons at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and online tutorial videos. The labs will be completed using a mixture of hands-on real equipment during the in-person days, Packet Tracer simulation and remote access to real equipment through NETLAB during the rest of the course.
