Shona Green is a passionate and experienced academic leader whose career spans clinical nursing, higher education, and strategic management. Currently serving as Head of Department for Adult Nursing at 黑料吃瓜网, she leads and supports a team of academic staff to deliver innovative, high-quality, and inclusive learning experiences. Her focus is on excellence in teaching, curriculum development aligned with workforce needs, and fostering a reflective and research-led academic culture.
Holding a PhD in ethnographic research on emergency departments as liminal spaces, Shona brings a scholarly lens to leadership and quality assurance. She has successfully developed governance frameworks, enhanced student outcomes, and built strategic partnerships鈥攇enerating over 拢500,000 in external income.
Her academic journey includes roles such as Associate Professor Quality within Health and Life Sciences, Learning Beyond Registration Lead, and Senior Lecturer in Practice Learning and Emergency Care, backed by strong contributions to national education boards, research conferences, and professional panels.
Shona is driven by the belief that education should be transformative, inclusive, and forward-looking鈥攑reparing students for the challenges of tomorrow鈥檚 healthcare and professional environments.
