Andreas Frölich, Professor of Piano Hochschule Cologne and Yehudi Menuhin School performs works by Mozart, Brahms, Chopin and Piazzolla.
German pianist Andreas Frölich studied with Stefan Askenase, Vitaly Margulis in Freiburg and Pavel Gililov in Cologne. During his studies he was a prize-winner of numerous prestigious competitions. In the concert hall Andreas has performed sell-out recitals in multiple famous venues and music festivals, and has appeared as soloist with many acclaimed orchestras and chamber orchestras worldwide. As a chamber musician, he is the pianist of the Mendelssohn Trio Berlin and he performs regularly with Ensemble Wien, led by the concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic.
Andreas has recorded extensively for radio both internationally and in his native Germany and released more than 40 CDs. Andreas also maintains a celebrated career in pedagogy. He is Professor at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, Aachen; Yehudi Menuhin School and Professor at the Talent Music Masters University in Brescia. His students have won over 200 prizes at music competitions and is often invited as jury member in many international piano competitions. Andreas Frölich is an official Steinway Artist.
