IKON Gallery Partnership
Promoting creative collaboration
We are working closely with internationally acclaimed contemporary art venue  to deliver creative outreach with our city's communities, growing artistic talent, engaging with young people in creative education and showcasing the innovation that underpins our creative industries.
Our support enables the gallery to open on TuesdaysÌý·É³ó±ð²Ô visitors can enjoy an additional day of free entry to Ikon’s exhibitions.ÌýSince 2024, working together as a cultural organisation and academic institution, we have engaged over 20,000 members of the public. Â
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and IKON gallery extend creative partnership after landmark first year of impact
Launched in October 2024,  has created a powerful new platform for students, staff and communities, while enriching Ikon’s public programme with new ideas, emerging talent and expanded opportunities for cultural engagement.
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Tuesdays
As a result of our partnership, the gallery is now able to open on Tuesdays,Ìý·É³ó±ð²Ô members of the public can enjoy an additional day of free entry to Ikon’s exhibitions.
°¿²ÔÌý, school and college students are welcomed to Ikon Gallery for interactive workshops, delivered in collaboration with our , academics and student ambassadors. Sessions introduce Key Stage 4 and 5 learners to the breadth of creative study opportunities at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø in our School of Arts.Ìý

The School of Arts includes three academic Departments: Art and Design; English and Media; and Fashion and Jewellery.
