Yes. We ask you to prepare a portfolio of work that you can refer to during your interview. This should include examples that demonstrate your experience, skills and interests relevant to the course.

After your interview, you will be asked to email your portfolio to the interview panel. Some applicants may choose to send it in advance, but this is not required.听

We understand that applicants come from a wide range of backgrounds, so there is no set format for your portfolio.

You may wish to include examples such as:

• Stage management paperwork you have created.

• Photographs of props, costumes or scenery you have made.

• Lighting or sound plans.

• Production photographs from shows you have worked on.

• Any other examples that showcase your practical skills, creativity and experience.

Choose work that best represents your abilities and enthusiasm for the course.

Don't worry. You will not be rejected simply because you do not have a portfolio.

Your interview allows you to discuss your experience, interests and potential with the panel. If you have any relevant work, projects or experiences to talk about, we encourage you to do so, even if you don't have a formal portfolio.听

Your interview will take place on Microsoft Teams with a panel of academic staff.

At the start of the interview, the panel will introduce themselves and ask you to confirm your identity by showing a form of photographic ID, such as:

• A current valid passport.

• A full or provisional photo driving licence.

The panel will ask you questions about your experience, your interest in the course and your portfolio (where applicable). You'll also have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about studying with us.

Before your interview, you should:

• Make sure you can access Microsoft Teams before your scheduled interview time.
• Ensure you鈥檙e using a computer or laptop to join and not a mobile app.
• Have your photographic ID ready.
• Prepare examples of your work or portfolio to discuss with the panel.
• Think about your experience and why you want to study the course.
• Prepare any questions you'd like to ask about the course or student life.

Please note that there may be a short delay before your interview begins while the panel admits you into the meeting.

Yes. A strong interview performance and/or an outstanding portfolio may be taken into consideration when the panel makes its recommendation.

In exceptional cases, applicants may be recommended for an unconditional offer, subject to the University's admissions processes.听
